CQI Thames Valley

Aims of the branch

The Thames Valley Branch of the CQI is the local organization devoted to the following:

• To provide a local organization to further the aim of the CQI
• To arrange suitable programmes and visits; to promote efficiency, education and training in quality
• To co-operate with other organizations in the branch area, and to cater for the needs of branch members in all matters.

Additionally the Thames Valley Branch offers support to a nominated charity. Each year at the AGM, Thames Valley Branch members are invited to vote for the local charity that they would like to support financially over the comming year. in 2010 the Branch was able to donate £548 to the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust. At this year's AGM the members decided to support the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Support. An article covering the Branch's charitable activities can be found here.

Events

Visits and talks are arranged on a variety of subjects of interest to members. The branch meetings provide an opportunity for members to meet each other on an informal basis to discuss their common interests in the quality industry.

Notes

With some pre-stated exceptions, all events are free including refreshments and attract CQI CPD certificates when requested. Members of other institutes and guests are welcome.

While every effort is made to ensure that events are held as planned, it may be necessary on occasions to cancel or change them, so please check nearer the date.
