The CQI Nuclear Special Interest Group

The Nuclear SIG (NucSIG) provides a forum for CQI members (and quality professionals in the nuclear sector who are considering membership) to maintain awareness, share experience and knowledge with their peers and to aid their professional development.

Nuclear SIG

We are organised into three regions, Scotland, North of England & Wales and South of England (which includes non-UK based members) and we hold events throughout the year.

Vision

To be recognised as improving quality within the nuclear industry through the development of the capability of quality professionals in the nuclear sector. 

Objectives

  • To provide a network to support best practice sharing and benchmarking.
  • To support the professional development of members.
  • To establish and maintain the Body of Quality Knowledge for the nuclear industry.
  • To represent the interests of members in the nuclear sector through the CQI.

Membership

The group is open to quality, safety and regulatory professionals within the nuclear industry including operators, construction personnel, regulators, service providers, consultants, certification body personnel, government personnel who can contribute to the objectives of the group.

Forum

We operate a private CQI Forum open to all NucSIG members to encourage discussion about the industry and share thoughts with like minded peers. To access the forum you will need to register as a CQI Forum member before requesting access to the Nuclear Forum by emailing nucsig@thecqi.org with your CQI Forum member ID.
