Supply Chain Quality - NucSIG Event at Sellafield Centre, April 2009

Sellafield Ltd hosted the first of a series of events in support of the CQI Nuclear SIG on 30 April 2009 at the Sellafield Centre. The event, which attracted more than 60 delegates from over 22 companies, was focused around ‘supply chain quality’ and the increasing demands associated with supply chain activities.

Martin McKay, NDA’s Quality Manager, thought the event was 'excellent and sets the benchmark for the rest of the year’s NucSIG events to follow. The choice of speakers and the networking opportunities made this a great event.'

The event featured speakers from Sellafield Ltd, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, BAE Systems and The Welding Institute covering a range of topics from Global Supply to Supplier Development initiatives.

The NucSIG Steering Group gives many thanks to Sellafield Ltd for hosting the event and in particular to Emma Sloan, a Sellafield Ltd QA Engineer and NucSIG member for organizing the event.
