'In Pursuit of Excellence’ was selected as the 2011 theme in recognition of the fact that, in order to succeed, organisations must continuously strive to improve.

2010

World Quality Day 2010 'Out of the Crisis' focused on what a fit organisation looks like and the role that quality management professionals play in facilitating fitness.

2009

In 2009, the CQI continued the World Quality Day campaign by encouraging organisations worldwide to run events or to participate in one of the regional events organised by the CQI branches.

2008

The CQI’s first World Quality Day conference took place on 13 November 2008 at the Imarsat Conference Centre in London and proved to be the forum for innovation, inspiration and creative ideas that it had promised to be.
