Jan Gillett is chairman of Process Management International (PMI) Ltd which has been at the forefront of business improvement consultancy and training since the early 1980s. He has worked around the world with clients from across business and not for profit sectors.
PMI helps its clients to deliver sustained improvements by:
- developing an improvement strategy and structures for leading and managing its implementation
- supporting critical improvement projects to reach their goals
- developing the skills and capabilities of client leaders and staff for sustainable improvement
Jan worked for Pilkington Group for 18 years, being managing director of a subsidiary in the mid 80s. From 1986 - 90 he was MD of Sketchley Textile Services where he led a whole company quality-based transformation from the front for three years.
Jan is also a director of Paris-based Main Consulting International, which provides coordinated consulting and training solutions across Europe and Latin America.
Jan was a founder member of the British Deming Association in 1987 and a director from 1989 - 96. He was chairman of the BDA's Alliance of Consultants from 94-96 and has addressed many conferences in the UK and across Asia.
