Professional recognition

CQI membership ensures that you are recognised as a quality professional that possesses the relevant levels of academic achievement, experience, training and integrity. We offer a number of membership grades to help support your journey from a first glimpse of quality to your role as the complete Chartered Quality Professional.

Chartered Quality Professional

CQPs (CQI Member and Fellow grades) are competent in the quality management approach and the associated tools and techniques to ensure that their organisation consistently satisfies its customers and stakeholders, and continually improves its performance.

Qualityworld

Receive a monthly copy of the UK's leading quality magazine, Qualityworld, which looks at contemporary business issues and features the latest jobs in quality.

QW Express

QW Express is the monthly e-newsletter from the CQI. Packed full of expert opinions on the quality industry's hot topics, it brings you the latest news on quality every month.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CQI membership ensures that you are recognised as a quality professional that possesses the relevant levels of academic achievement, experience, training and integrity. All members are encouraged to participate in the CQI's CPD scheme, which helps you to plan your career, identify skills gaps and select the appropriate training needed to achieve long-term professional objectives.

Networking

The CQI has a comprehensive branch network of 36 branches throughout the UK plus three overseas branches. Branches meet regularly for talks, seminars and visits to local enterprises. These meetings provide ample opportunities for networking and to exchange ideas and information on the latest quality tools and techniques.

Knowledge

This knowledge portal provides simple, yet in-depth, statements of knowledge that can be used and developed by users such as educational and training groups, CQI members and organisations that need to define guidance or competencies for their quality professionals.

Website forums

Participate in discussions that interest you most on our website forums. Some forums are open to all and some restricted to members.

Special interest groups

You can join the CQI's range of industry or technical quality groups, including: Deming, pharmaceutical, integrated management, engineering, medical devices and health and social care. Meetings are supported with telephone conferencing.

Training courses

Significant discounts are awarded to members on our extensive range of quality-related courses, which are offered both on site at the CQI and in-company at your location. Tailored specifically to your industry or organisational activity.

Management Consultancy Register (MCR)

CQI members can join, utilise and profit from the MCR which qualifies and registers individual quality consultants and supplies potential business leads to the registered consultants.

Events

The CQI also holds regional seminars and conferences throughout the year in which members are entitled to attend at a reduced entry fee.

Conference facilities

All members are entitled to discounted rates for the hire of the elegant Queen Anne-style conference and seminar rooms at the CQI's headquarters near Hyde Park, London.
