Upgrade your CQI membership

As your career in quality progresses, you need to demonstrate that your achievements have been recognized by your professional body. Upgrading to Member or Fellow and becoming a Chartered Quality Professional provides you with recognition for your quality-related skills, experience and achievements, improving your career prospects.

Upgrade from Associate to Member or Fellow

If you meet the current academic requirements of: CQI Diploma; a degree in quality; another degree plus modules D1 and D2 from the current diploma; the CQI Training Certificate in Quality Management Practices or another acceptable qualification, then all you will have to do to meet Member grade is achieve five years' work experience including two years at a supervisory level.

If you do not have an acceptable qualification, you can demonstrate your skills and experience using the experiential route; keeping track of how you have gained skills and experience mapped against the CQI's Body of Quality Knowledge.

Upgrade from Member to Fellow

If you are already a Member, the route to upgrading to Fellow is to complete the Experiential Route Form, identifying how and where you have contributed to the development of the profession through a portfolio of evidence.
