Become an education centre
With business excellence and good business practice becoming increasingly important in the workplace, more and more employers are finding out about quality management systems and how to train their staff appropriately.
When you apply we will assess your education centre and, subject to approval, you will be assigned to one of the following categories:
- Registered
- Approved
The CQI provides the syllabi for the units of the Diploma and the Certificates which outline the indicative content and learning outcomes. We set the assessment papers and mark or moderate them. We also monitor students' results.
As an education centre, you develop the supporting teaching materials, coordinate students' studies and teach the courses. You also market the programmes (with the CQI's help) and administer the fees. Essentially, you will be the central point of contact for your students studying for the CQI qualifications. We will support you in getting the best results.
The CQI qualifications can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, with weekly tutorials or more intensive block-release study, both in the UK and overseas. We do not prescribe how to deliver the qualifications - as long as the exam dates and submission deadlines are met, the structure of the courses are entirely up to you.
Assessment of education centres
Our formal approval process is available globally. The first stage of our quality assurance process for recognition of your ability to provide the programme(s) requested includes the following steps:
- Initial enquiry and response
- Submit application
- Payment of the self-assessment centre fee
- Desktop appraisal of your submission
- Request from CQI for supporting documentation based on your evidence
- Initial centre visit by one of our representatives within six months of receiving a successful submission
- Within four weeks of the visit, a detailed report and approval certificate
- Payment of the annual centre fee
