CQI Qualifications
A range of quality management qualifications aimed at those new to quality or progressing through their quality career. The new CQI qualifications (2010 syllabus) are accredited by OfQual and recognised on Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Recognition and reward are important for every profession and the quality management profession is no different. Achieving Chartered Quality Professional status requires years of dedication to learning and practice, but how do you gain recognition on the way?
The new CQI qualifications provide that development route allowing quality professionals to gain recognition through the achievement of role-related qualifications that not only provide a ladder to becoming chartered, but are recognised by employers and are easily transferable. The flexible, unitised approach also allows you to build on previous learning to achieve new qualifications without duplication, in part-time or distance-learning formats.
In fact, those employers that helped the CQI develop the new qualifications were clear that the CQI is in a unique position to provide learning and development routes that support the range of quality-related job roles reflected in the scope of the quality professional. The institute is able to facilitate a system of qualifications that are nationally recognised (QCF) and based on the CQI Body of Quality Knowledge.
There are two levels of qualifications: Level 3 Introductory and Level 5 Advanced.
