Nick Forshaw

Nick Forshaw joined CQI in October 2010 and is accountable for CQI’s strategic development, performance management and internal management functions, including finance, IT and HR.
Nick’s early career was spent in the financial services industry, in the UK and Europe, where he led a number of major strategic transformations and turnarounds, delivering improvements to bottom line performance and increased shareholder value.
In 2002 Nick completed an MBA at Cranfield University School of Management and moved out of the financial services industry. He joined Investors In People UK as Strategy Director, leading a number of major changes to the IIP Standard and its delivery to UK organisations.
In 2005 Nick joined the Qualifications & Curriculum Authority and played a key role in the delivery of a number of new qualification and education policy initiatives. He took on the role of acting Commercial Director in 2008 to reform QCA’s commercial approach to supplier and partner relationships.
Nick’s professional principles are rooted in the development of clear, coherent strategies, application of best practice, investment in people and delivery of results. His aim is to apply these principles across all of CQI’s activities.
