Vincent Desmond

Vincent took his position at the CQI in September 2007 after seven years working in conformity assessment with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).

Vincent’s background in training and development in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, led him into auditor training and then onto product development and communications for IRCA. At IRCA, he worked with business and industry to develop training and qualifications for auditors in fields including food safety, CSR and information security.

With standards and conformity assessment being a global system for facilitation of trade, Vincent has worked extensively outside the UK in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Within the CQI, Vincent’s passion is communicating the value of quality and quality professionals to business and industry as the vital tools for business improvement, customer satisfaction, risk management and corporate care.
