Investment and Audit Panel

The Investment and Audit Panel's roles are: 

  • To manage the Institute’s reserves in accordance with the Reserves Policy and under direction from the Board such that the Institute generates marketcomparable returns and is able to fund both its immediate and longer term spending requirements
  • To oversee the annual statutory financial audit.

The panel is composed of four members:

  • Honorary Treasurer
  • CEO
  • Head of Finance
  • A Trustee appointed by the Board.

The panel:

  • Is advised by the Institute’s financial advisors
  • Shall reach its decisions by consensus
  • Should meet quarterly ahead of each Board meeting
  • Reports to the Board through the Honorary Treasurer.
