Policies

For an organisation to be relevant to its stakeholders, to influence government, regulators, trade associations and to have a serious approach to the way it conducts its affairs, it must have policies.

The CQI is no exception and has developed a framework of issues on which it needs a policy. Some of these policies have been developed for the more critical issues and some await development.

The CQI uses these policies, all of which have been authorised by its Professional Policy Board to proclaim its position on issues of national interest, to respond to matters of interest published in the media and to guide its actions and conduct its affairs.

Anyone wishing to comment on the CQI's policies should address their comments to Ruth Chrystie.

Anyone wishing to quote the CQI's policies should reference the CQI website (www.thecqi.org) as the source of information.
