The new logo explained

Our new logo conveys innovation and care. The unconventional, all-embracing brackets suggest protection and strength. The freeform, handpainted style is out of the ordinary and creative, signifying innovation.

The texture of the brackets denote a multi-faceted approach, with real depth. The naturalistic colours signify that quality has moved on from simply conforming to requirements and documenting activities on bits of paper. Quality has broadened to embrace much more. Yellow signifies the sun with its life-enhancing properties, providing nourishment and illumination - innovation. Green reflects our commitment to a sustainable future - care.

The fonts have dignity, grace and standing. They are modern, but not faddish and will stand the test of time. Like the CQI, they are strong and opinionated, but are not imposing.
