London Excellence Awards 2008
Do you find it a challenge to get people in your organisation excited about quality? The CQI can help you overcome this challenge through the London Excellence Awards 08.
These national awards are based on the EFQM Excellence Model, but unlike other excellence awards programmes, the award categories are based on the fundamental concepts of excellence which are common to all quality systems.
The entry requirements are not onerous, simply complete a proforma and the payback is potentially enormous. The categories are shown below with links to the relevant Word documents.
- Results focus (422kb)
- Customer focus (419kb)
- Leadership (424kb)
- Management systems (426kb)
- People involvement & development (418kb)
- Innovation and learning (420kb)
- Making partnerships work (418kb)
- Corporate social responsibility (421kb)
- Best micro business (< 10 staff) (411kb)
- Best small business (< 25 staff) (411kb)
- Ambassadors Blue Riband (525kb)
If one or more of these areas is fundamental to the success of your business, then why not enter the relevant categories?
To find out more about how to enter the National Awards 2008 we invite you to attend a free half-day briefing.
We are also inviting entrants to the prestigious CQI Quality Leader of the Year Award.
Each year the individual who has achieved outstanding success in the field of quality is presented with this award and joins an elite group of previous winners: the UK Quality Leaders.
The deadline for completing the proformae is the 20th March 2008 but we ask that you register your entry no later than the 3rd March. Download the entry form (Word document)
Become an Assessor
Finally, we are offering experienced managers the opportunity to act as assessors. The assessment process is an excellent opportunity to learn how a variety of other organisations do business and achieve excellence. Requiring around 4 days of your time spread over a period between January and May, assessment provides an unrivalled management development experience for a small investment of time and money. As a quality professional you can gain from this yourself - or use it as a further opportunity to engage and motivate your line management.
