The Chartered Quality Institute

Guidelines for Results Enquiries

This process is for students wishing to have:

  • An individual breakdown of the question score out of 25.
  • Details on the strengths and/or weaknesses of the answer for each question.
  1. This should be actioned within two weeks of receipt of your results. A date is detailed on your results letter.
  2. Submit a letter to the CQI Education Department requesting a results enquiry (including your Student Number) enclosing a cheque made payable to the CQI (see current fees).
This must be submitted directly by the student concerned.
  3. Students will be sent a detailed Examiner's report, on the module(s) requested, within four weeks of the date the request is received.
  4. This is NOT an appeal against your result. If you wish to appeal further please see the Appeals Policy. Note any appeal must be submitted with two weeks of receiving the Examiner's report.
  5. The CQI cannot send original examination scripts back to students. The Examiner's report, however, will make it clear as to what the Examiner refers to, and will suggest future improvements.
