Education policies
The CQI Education Department is committed to assisting its education centres and students and has written a different policies to this effect. We aim to work on a daily basis to improve the service that centres and students receive.
The policies currently in effect are:
Access which deals with how we are working to ensure equality of access to our qualifications.
Accreditation of Prior Achievement Policy which explains how we provide recognition and formal credit for learning acquired in the past.
Appeals which explains what to do if some part of the process leading to the issue of the result has not been carried out properly
Deferral policy which outlines what to do if something unexpected happens at the last minute and a student cannot attend an examination.
Customer service statement which outlines our service commitment to you
Equal opportunities policy which oulnes our intention to apply the principle of equal opportunities in all areas of our activities
Malpractice Policy which details what constitutes malpractice (including plagiarism) and what actions the CQI takes to deal with it
Policy on Aegrotat which is for students eligible for the CQI qualifications, but who have not been able to complete all required modules.
Results enquiries which explains how you can obtain feedback on your examination performance.
Results re-calculation request which details what you would like if you would like an arithmetical re-calculation of your examination result
Transfer policy which outlines the procedure for changing your examination date or C1/C2 assessment date if you are already entered for that module.
