Introduction

Nostradamus - PEST (Political, Economic, Social and Technological factors) and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) - forms the basis for an exciting workshop to shape the future of the CQI.

Objective of SuperSIG 18 September 2007

To consider and discuss the outcomes of the PEST and SWOT analysis in order to formulate proposals to assure that the CQI is the future leading quality professional body.

Introduction

Presentation by PPB Chair

  • Agenda for the workshop
  • The future of CQI
  • Organisation of workgroups chaired by PPB members (4 groups S + W + O + T taking into account the related PEST analysis).

Note: Each group will need computer to record results and prepare the afternoon presentation of 15 minutes.

Breakout workgroup sessions

The objective for each group within their terms of reference is to define a vision for the future of the CQI and a strategy to implement the vision. Issues that must be addressed include resourcing, planning, education and training, partnering (e.g. IEMA, IIA), stakeholder interactions.
