The First for Service department is responsible for developing, leading and managing a range of improvement initiatives that support the continued development of the culture of 3663. Our primary objectives are to drive the mission statement, reinforce our values and engage and involve our people in creating a measurable environment for continual improvement that supports the business strategy and delivers improved customer service.

A vacancy has arisen to ensure we maintain support and focus for First for Service in the northern regions.

Can you inspire people to improve?

As a customer and people driven individual managing a range of Quality initiatives you will be the person Senior Managers come to with improvement opportunities. In order to support the development of their business, they will expect you to provide practical advice, training, and facilitation. You will utilise the framework of the EFQM Excellence Model, People Survey and customer and employee information to give you the data needed to establish internal and external benchmarks, and provide improvement solutions that meet the requirements of your internal customers.

As well as a strong commitment to a culture that engages people in improvement and a practical knowledge of TQM and other improvement processes, strong management skills are essential, as are the character and communication skills to work closely with and influence a wide range of people. To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible, energetic, self-motivated and able to plan your diary well. You will need a driving license and there will be a requirement for overnight stays away from home and regular travel. Knowledge of IT applications is also required.
