BAE Systems Submarine Solutions create and manufacture some of the most challenging engineering projects in the world - including the Astute Class Submarine. We need experienced Quality Managers to join us within Submarine Solutions, focusing on the Quality and Supplier Assurance processes.
You will be responsible for managing the achievement of specific Management System requirements relating to the given role, providing effective Management System governance and reporting, reviewing Management System performance, agreeing and implementing improvement through the use of quality toolsets.
The role is ideal for people who are able to solve problems and have a proven ability to persuade and influence others at all levels in the organisation. You are likely to have a degree, be a member of the CQI and have experience of Management System deployment in a complex, multi-programme organisation. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential and AQAP 2110 is desirable. Outstanding communication, team working and leadership skills are important together with excellent IT literacy and an analytical approach to problem solving.
