Regional Quality Assurance Engineer

EMCOR provides a total life cycle of care for a facility, including the design, build and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, then the ongoing maintenance of these services and the provision of integrated facilities management.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure compliance with ISO9001 Standards is maintained and enforced throughout EMCOR Engineering Services Northern Region.
You will be responsible for ensuring that project teams are aware and trained on the company QA procedures and that these are implemented and maintained at all times, reporting directly to the Regional Director and QA Manager any deficiencies in the Quality Management system.
Duties include: Liaising with SGS regarding all surveillance visits in the region; maintaining an audit programme to ensure compliance with Company QA and submitting to regional management teams; ensuring a project specific QA plan is developed by each EES project team outlining QA requirements for sites; conducting visits to sites/offices and producing reports of findings; issuing non conformances and ensuring they are all closed out/managed through follow up visits; arranging QA management meetings; attending QA review meetings; conducting QA induction seminars/training for all personnel; issuing monthly status reports; maintaining records compliant with Procedure 1.04 Conduct of Internal Audits; liaising with main contractors and attending external audits where required.
The successful applicant will have ISO9001 Lead Auditor including 2000 update, be educated to GCSE standard; be self motivated and able to prioritise own workload; able to communicate at all levels; possess excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office and be willing to travel, mainly in the north of England.
