Business Assurance Auditor

Location: Central London
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

The Company

IPD is a global information business, and is the world's leading provider of independent market indices and portfolio benchmarks to the property industry. IPD offers a full range of services including research, reporting, benchmarking, conferences and indices. The IPD group has revenues of over £25 million, with significant operations in many parts of the World.

The Business Assurance Unit is responsible for ensuring that effective and client-relevant quality standards underpin IPD's business; for developing and implementing quality improvement plans; for providing an efficient and effective Audit Service and for establishing a robust risk management and compliance framework.

The Role

The Business Assurance Auditor will be required to assist the Senior Audit Consultant with all aspects of auditing both the various business units within IPD, and the supply of data from IPD clients. The audit team is required to identify inaccuracies and inefficiencies in the company's processes and to report to both the Board of IPD and to external client committees. The role will be mostly based in London, but will involve working in client offices throughout the UK, and IPD offices overseas.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years auditing experience and be someone who possesses the following qualities: ability to work in a small team and independently, paying close attention to detail, and sensitive to client relations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as the role involves meetings with clients and reporting to senior boards.
