Senior Quality Engineer

Championing a Quality-led culture within manufacturing, you will ensure we work to the highest standards. You will drive continuous improvement of processes and product quality via the application of modern improvement methodologies, working at all levels across the company.
Our strategic objective is to operate at standards of Quality Performance that will satisfy the demands of Automotive and Telecommunication supply chains. This will demand in-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2000 and TS 16949, backed by degree level education in Science or Engineering and sound practical experience of 8D problem solving, APQP processes and Six Sigma.
Continuous Improvement Engineer
Wantage, Oxfordshire · c £30,000
Closely supporting line management, you will actively develop a culture of manufacturing excellence, whilst ensuring that all improvement activities are compliant with HSE legislation, policy and procedures. We will look to you to create and deliver a visionary roadmap, maximise employee participation and contributions and minimise wastage and machine downtime.
You will require practical experience of modern manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Waste Elimination, SMED, TMP, Value Stream Mapping and Pull Systems. At the same time, you should be able to coach and train teams, solve problems, and apply innovative techniques to meet complex business needs.
