Quality Manager
The Company has a vacancy for a Quality Manager. Duties will include operating and maintaining the QMS to ISO9000:2000 in an environment with a diverse range of activities, including in-house product design and development, sub-contract manufacture and in-house testing, despatch and repairs. Additional duties will include production of associated documentation, records and reports, internal and external audits (supplier and subcontractor) resolution of all customer and supplier quality-related issues, including warranty returns and day-to-day responsibility for health and safety matters, including risk and COSHH assessments.
Ideally, you should have an HND or degree qualification in Electronic or Production Engineering, with at least 5 years experience gained within a similar role in an electro-mechanical/instrumentation environment. Familiarity with software quality control and use of a computer-based quality management system would be useful. We are looking for a hands-on approach to problem-solving and excellent organisation and communication skills.
