The CQI Nuclear Special Interest Group
The Nuclear SIG has been formed to provide a forum for CQI members to maintain awareness, share experience and knowledge with their peers and aid professional development.
Launch events
The Nuclear SIG held three launch events this July in Cumbria, Merseyside and London. The events provided a unique networking opportunity for quality professionals in the civil and military nuclear industry to share information and learn about the new IAEA Management system standard GS-R-3. Objectives
- Provide opportunities for networking for quality professionals in the nuclear industry
- Hold regular meetings and events covering topics of interest to Nuclear SIG members
- Liaise with local CQI branches and other related groups within the nuclear industry
- Encourage colleagues to consider CQI membership and its professional benefits
- Share understanding through training events of new standards and regulations affecting the nuclear sector

Membership
The group is open to quality, safety and regulatory professionals within the nuclear industry including operators, construction personnel, regulators, service providers, consultants, certification body personnel, government personnel who can contribute to the objectives of the group.
