The CQI/PMI Six Sigma and Improvement Programme Management (Champion workshop)

Planning an improvement programme presents leadership with many complex challenges. Through learning some valuable techniques, applying them to real life issues and sharing experiences with others, enables delegates to build their capabilities in leading change. This programme will be led by a senior member of the PMI team, who brings a wealth of experience to the workshop. The programme leader brings this practical experience to bear in helping delegates to create programmes suitable for their circumstances right now.

What's involved?

This workshop prepares delegates to understand the implications for being effective in designing and managing improvement programmes, and in supporting teams and individuals as they apply the methodologies.

Who should attend?

This seminar is suitable for those responsible for managing improvement and transformation programmes or projects. They could be line managers intending to sponsor one or many projects, or they may be programme managers for such work. A senior manager attending with the programme manager will develop a real momentum for dealing with their forthcoming challenges.

What are the benefits?

After completion delegates will be able to:

  • Scope and plan an improvement programme
  • Understand the improvement project methodology sufficiently to encourage its systematic application
  • Conduct a review of an ongoing programme and reach an initial diagnosis for change
  • Understand their personal role in managing the programme
