IMS internal auditing and self-assessment
Description
This course provides delegates with an in-depth knowledge of the specific skills needed to manage and conduct an integrated management system (IMS) audit or self-assessment programme. Methods for effective planning of multi-disciplinary audits or self assessments to aid continual improvement are explored along with alternative methods for their conduct and for reporting findings. The perceived difficulties and potential benefits from a centralised audit/assessment function are explored and practical solutions discussed.

Pre Course Requirements
Delegates are expected to have previous experience of internal audit systems and have participated in internal audits as an auditor.
Delegates are expected to have successfully completed a recognised internal auditor course in at least one management systems discipline eg ISO 9001:2000.
