Description

The aim of this course is to provide the delegates with a basic understanding of process analysis, modelling and measurement and the knowledge and skills needed to improve the performance of business processes; hence applying this to auditing the processes effectively in order to assess and identify opportunities for performance improvement and to add value.

Course content

  • an understanding of management system models and the processes that create value for an organisation and its stakeholders
  • process analysis, process modelling (specifying, defining and mapping processes) and process measurement
  • performance improvement techniques (eg working smarter and attacking waste)
  • internal audit process activities and methodologies for planning, preparing, conducting and reporting an audit; and effectively following up any actions for performance improvement
