This course provides delegates with information content and workshop activity towards design, development and implementation of strategies to ensure that UK service providers and the supporting professional product quality and management system services retain or improve on their market share in the post 2009 European Union and beyond.

- understanding the significance of the difference between a service (product) quality standard, a manufactured product quality standard and a management system standard
- understanding the various modes of conformity assessment activity, the objects to which they are suited, how to demonstrate or recognise successful results and the importance of accreditation to a certification

Quality professionals should understand that they have the dual interest as service providers generally and potential suppliers of ESD related training or consultancy.
